Re: Too much snow...can't wait for spring

@TheWanderingOne

You hit the nail on the head.....winters have been relatively mild with not too much snow and this year it's like "real" winter here SE of Lake Erie "the snowmaker".....

I heard there's ice formed now on the south end of the Lake so that will help a bit with the Lake Effect snow.......

The more that sun is coming out here the prettier it's getting by the minute...and I can SEE it with my new eyeball!!! ( Just had cataract surgery...it...is....AMAZING!!!)

Re: Too much snow...can't wait for spring

@Carmie  I was going to mention on my FB page that we went from mid-50s to 28 degrees today here in NC.......but then realized some of my family/friends in northern NY might be getting 3 feet of snow in the next few days!

I guess each half of the country faces a six month period of dread....me when winter is almost here....and the southern half that anticipates that brutal heat and humidity...

At least it's bright sunny here this morning, +9 right now,  and on the crystal white snow it is beautiful to see!!!

It's blinding!!

@Othereeeen   Yes, I get what you're saying, but I'm not in the South -- I'm in Philadelphia!

Re: Too much snow...can't wait for spring

We lucked out.  In my area of MA, we got 6 inches of beautiful fluffy white snow.  The trees and bushes look like they are covered in cotton balls.  It's bright and sunny but frigid cold.  Spring is at least three months away, it's only January.  Just mid January.  It's MLK day so everything is closed.  I'm just reading, watching Netflix and relaxing under my fleece throws.
