Today was a very special day !

Had she lived my mom would have been 93 today but Covid took her away on 4/28/20. My best friend and mom of 10, she was a registered nurse who was my inspiration for becoming a nurse also. I visited her grave today with one of my sisters and placed flowers. Happy heavenly birthday mom !

I so understand your sentiment. My mom died last October 9. Tomorrow ( Nov. 17) would be her 98th birthday. I never thought I could miss her so much.

@Goodie2shoes , our moms have a similar background. I am one of ten children and my mother was a nurse. She passed at the age of 65 when I was 28. I miss her still everyday

That was a lovely way to honor her. It never gets any easier - I certainly know that. Those of us that had beautiful mothers - we were truly blessed!

Similar background well how about that ! Sorry for the lost of your mom at such a early age for both her and you. I'm the oldest of my moms 10 children where are you in your sibling line of 10?
