[Still keeper of the koi]

The sun is shining  ,after a bad storm last night, it's cool and fresh.I had help from 2 employees  to stake the garden  plants and weed the hills around my ponds.It was so perfect  to have this help.The birds were singing, butterflies  in the air , my beautiful koi fish, so big and bright sunning themselves on the rocks. The sky is so blue, that blue you  dream about ,not a cloud to be found.I came inside with this giddy feeling that made  realize  , this is where life has been leading me  all these years. Life is perfect, beautiful, full of joy ,yet to be found. I cannot wait for life to continue to unfold what an incredible   journey this  is.I am blessed to recieve this gift..I hope you all are living your dreams today and always...Hugs and love, Maryanne

@Still keeper of the koi, we had a beautiful day too and headed out to get the first of this year's Blueberries.  These were so sweet this year, I don't even have to put the sweetner on them.  I only (we) got 1/2 as much this time.  That'll be plenty. 

HE of course, slipped in a pie.  I'm not much on those, just as soon just have a bowl of the blueberries.  But I did get some real strawberry jam they put up. It's a fruit orchard and store.  Something to look forward to this time of year.

I've mentioned that this year, I'd like to get a bushel of McIntosh apples from the other orchard.

We're so lucky, we have cherries, peaches, apples, blueberries and strawberries. Up north grapes for a bunch of the winery's some of which we'll visit in the fall. 

Life is good!!! Glad you had a great one and I'm so glad you're back posting. You were missed.

I  too love the fruits that are abound, i have lots here on our property, picked the last of the rasberries..But now the huge blackberries  are ready!I love to can so I hear jam jars calling ..

The apples here are big all ready, my trees are full. I bet they will be  delicious by you too.  It is so nice to share life with friends . I Enjoy your posts I feel as if we  live next door.  I hope your days are all lovely ,sending you love and  hugs, Maryanne

We had beautiful weather this weekend.  Heat and humidity are on their way but it's July so I have to accept that.

I don't think the OP is referring to the weather, that's not where her joy is coming from.  She is talking about the realization, the in her heart, realization that she life has brought her to the place where she was meant to be.  She's living's living the life she was meant to live.  For her, it's her plants and flowers and the pond and the people in her life.  That's her treasure.  It would be different things for different people but we have to be in tune with ourselves, we have to be able to be "quiet" to know when that time comes for us.
