Is this just another sign of getting older or is it just me? I'm having more difficulty adjusting to the time change. It's 8:30 now and seems like 11pm. I want to put my pj"s on.

It gets dark here at 4:30. I put my pajamas on at 6:30. I’m not old, but I am comfortable

Not even 10 min ago I mentioned to DH I’m sleepy and it’s only 7:30 (cst). Time change is getting a little harder so it’s a good thing we’re retired.

In addition to darkness at early hour - if living in cold temp area - the house is buttoned down with no fresh air & perhaps dry furnace/fireplace fumes.  Fresh air is such a positive ------but it's too darn cold to sit out on the porch.  (we start gaining daylight - second by minute - starting Dec 21 or 22 or sometime around there)   Keep the faith!

Temperature was around 24 or 25 when I woke up this morning. BRRR! Tonight it's supposed to be a low of 18 degrees. Possible snow tomorrow with a high of "low 30's". We were in the 50's and 60's until Monday! I'm still wearing sandals. Oh, dear.

I'm an early riser (3:00-4:00 a.m. natural wake up time) but this time change to standard always causes me to sleep so much more.  I've awakened at 4:30 every day this week and fell asleep around 7:00 p.ml  I hate it!!!

I always liked when we returned to standard time but this year it's really bothering me.  I've gone to bed at 8:30 a few times this week then I'm up at 4:30.  Last night I made it 9:30 lol.

It seems to really be tougher on me this year -- maybe because it has been cold, dark and gloomy everyday since making it seem later than it is.  I go to bed when I'm tired - I try to stay up a little later each night but I like my sleep Smiley Wink
