Decorators and other professionals who normally hype the Pantone color of the year won't make much money on just plain white. Been there, done that! I think I have a white shirt in my closet somewhere....then I'll be SO cutting edge!

Actually white is the presence of all colors of light. How do I know this?

My 7th grade teacher taught us this!  How on earth I remember this is because it doesn't at first make sense until you learn about all the scientific reasons why. I thought that was maybe something good to know lol!

Well, I guess the "color" or non color is nice but yeah, maybe they just phoned it in. The name Cloud Dancer is nice

@GingerHead   I love white decor as well...so uplifting and bright and for me - coastal! I was just going to say, white against any skin tone to me softens the complexion...i have so many white blouses and tank tops.  I typically wear white or light pink near my face.

I do wear white often .... Lots of white shirts year round and white pants in summer. .

I also have a couple of white denim jackets, a white raincoat and white rain boots.

I've made several white sweaters for myself.  Add white scarves and gloves.

White is a good color for complexion aid hair.color.

Same with me.    I am VERY "pale"....and white makes me look DEAD.

Even with other colors, I have to hold a garment up to my face to see if it "goes" with my coloring.    Which is a royal pain if I'm shopping at WM....the only mirrors they have are located in the "home" department.   di

@Trailrun23  a white bores you?  Take a look At Ben Moore and Sherwin Williams.  There are hundreds and hundreds shades of white and each shade is  different.  I love them.

It doesn't matter to me what "they" say   I know what I like & prefer warm colors. Don't need some strangers advice on what to like or wear - have my own opinions & can make my own decisions without advice from "them".

Point well taken! 💕 In physics, white is the spectrum of all visible wavelengths. Good point.

I still think between last year and this year, Patone choices are depressing. Wasn’t it that blah mocha color?
