The kindness of "strangers"

@Southern Bee and @Drythe, I want to thank each of you for your kindness about the first anniversary of my DH’s death. I am not thanking you inside Retired Legal Secretary’s thread, where it occurred, because it wouldn’t be appropriate to interject myself into her personal and painful situation.  Anyway, please accept that you did a nice thing and that I appreciate it.

Strive for respect instead of attention. It lasts longer.
