I used to love to dance when I was much younger, I'm from the Studio 54 generation, you know music, dancing and coke. LOL. No really, I loved to slow dance with my now husband, although he would embarrass the heck out me at weddings when he insisted on doing the polka. He wasn't good at it, but he was so handsome nobody cared.

@qualitygal  Give me some hard core rock n roll, cut loose, and go wild.  It is one of my pleasures in life....and feels so freeing!

I love all 70's music and can dance all night to that. (I'm an old school old lady). LOL

I promise to remind myself every day that I am strong, courageous, and resilient.

I was born with 2 left feet unlike my husband who loves to dance.  But I love to watch couples dancing the jitterbug and swing.  Maybe in my next life....

My DH and I love love to jive, rock & roll, boogie whatever.  Met at a jazz club and we won lots of jiving contests in the U.K.  and we are still bouncing around!

Salsa. I love those Latin rhythms. Second would be 1940s jive music. I’ve danced all my life. I guess that’s why, at 70, I’m awaiting my knee replacement surgery on 10/24. I’ve been told that I can return to low impact dancing once I’m healed. Can’t wait!

I am comfortable dancing alone or in a group on any kind of dance floor.  We recently had a team (work) event and part of the fellowship/fun part involved a DJ in a big whattaya call it - shed? - at a park.  I liked dancing the latin hustle and the wobble with the group.  There was one song that played that made me wish my Ma was alive so we could jitterbug.

The DJ played Silento's "Watch Me - Whip/Nae Nae" - it's available on youtube.

Apparently I'm the only one in the group who knows the song and dance steps to it.  That didn't stop me though, lol,.

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.
