Well this is random. I just stumbled across the website listing the worst cities for "Brown Friday" (by Yelp)
As Thanksgiving approaches, plumbers across America are bracing for what industry experts call “Brown Friday” — the day after turkey day — when emergency plumbing calls hit their annual peak. During this time, Yelp searches spike for trusted plumbers who can quickly rescue clogged toilets, drains, and garbage disposals. Last year, Brown Friday-related searches surged for “emergency plumber” (up 27%), “plumber” (up 22%), and “24 hour plumbing” (up 19%), when comparing the two weeks before Thanksgiving Day to those on Thanksgiving Day and the two weeks after.*
This year, plumbing pros are preparing for another busy Brown Friday. “Brown Friday is always our busiest day of the year, and with last year being busier than the year before, all signs point to even more calls this year,”

well, they got that map right. They need to put a star over my house though. Talk about touchy old sewer here! Being a plumber here in Silicon Valley is a great money making job, most over 150@hr. To remove the toilet, snake and unclog a sewer line costs 800 bucks. And that for 2 hours work, as there are all the other charges. lol. Unless you live in a newer area with homes built after 1990 or so, you have the older, steel, narrower pipes. Our home didn't even have an outside clean trap like most do.
it is just the 2 of us, but when certain grands are visiting, never fails.. they use toilet paper like oven mitts I think, and overflow it is. Now I am so strict, they know and are more careful. We bit the bullet and had the outside trap put in . Omg, we could have bought a good used car!!!

Why Salt Lake I wonder? And by a healthy margin.
Any theories or hypotheses as to what's going on?

If today were April 1st, I'd swear this was a prank.
