Dear Gloriajean:: You and I know that for 9 years this thread has stood against many trying to have it removed.  There is nothing in the standards that specifies 'Religion' is not allowed - in fact,  this thread was moved specifically to Among Friends to keep a select few happy over on Chat.

I would expect that no longer can a poster start a thread requesting prayers for certain intentions, either. After all, fair is fair.

My suggestion is to have a daily "chat" here so that you and the other posters can stay in touch since emails can no longer be posted.  I have many emails for posters but none for those who have been posting recently.

Nobody was ever forced to read this thread but the control issue of some people never ceases to make me just shake my head.

If there is anything I can do to help you, email me.

@gloriajean❤️,  I've only posted on your thread occasionally and I haven't been here on the forums much in recent weeks...   but I saw your comments and really wanted to echo what @Cakers3 said.    And @Ruby Laine's, @KaliaMonet's, @SleeplessinSD's, @LeighMarie's, @PamfromCT's and @luvswesties's warm sentiments, too.    It's a given that we need to work within QVC's decisions here, but I think for the time being the idea of a simple daily, positive chat would be lovely if you feel so inclined.    Many posters do this in various sub-forums, and it's a nice way to keep in touch.   I, too, have email connections with some posters but wouldn't know how to make that helpful right now and none of us wants to upset the apple cart while we might try to brainstorm.

Please know that you, and everyone who reads and posts here, are important and special to many dear souls whose names we probably never will know.     Right now, I'll send gentle cyberhugs to you and I hope you will let me know if there's anything I can to to be helpful.

@gloriajean @dooBdoo

I agree with what the others have said also. Hopefully, there is a way for a thread in the among friends category that will be allowed.

Please let me know if I may be of assistance.

Thank you @gloriajean for your daily posts.  You touch and  inspire many.

Re: The Last Daily Positive Thread

Am so sad to read the title of this thread.

But nothing suprises me any more here.  It was just a matter of time.

I've seen so much dislike for my religion on these forums and it was hard to ignore.

That someone (or many) would complain to QVC to have you stopped, just shows you the opposite of what they're  fired up about on other threads.

God bless you Gloriajean and all who post along with you and those who just read, but don't reply.

You're all good people.

And may God bless us all.

You have provided such an enlightening thread that I've looked at often, and there was always something that would soothe me.

Re: The Last Daily Positive Thread

How very disappointing that Q would shut down such a positive, uplifting, and supportive thread. I didn't see where OP was criticizing other religions, so I don't see the problem. I guess we are only able to mention religion if it means more sales for QVC? Sad. My thanks to OP for her many beautiful posts.

PamfromCT...You couldn't have said it better...my sentiments exactly. GloriaJean...I have read your thread for years and they have been a blessing to me. Although I haven't posted, reading them has brought me much comfort, especially as I am semi-housbound and disabled. Love and many blessings to you and your family, and to everyone here who reads or posts. We may not know each other on a "personal level", however, the Lord knows who we are and our connection as we continue to send light, love and prayers to each other. This thread may "die"..but "LOVE" NEVER DOES..... GOD BLESS... Bohemian Gal

Dear gloriajean...

It saddens me to hear this news...

I want to "Thank You", for taking the time to post your beautiful words of inspiration and hope.

I know that you have prayed for me...

Your "Thread" has been an uplifting little piece of hope.   It has helped me, during what I am going thru with my illness.

When I am feeling so wiped out, like I have nothing left to give...I turn to your "Meditation of Prayer" along with "Your Prayer for The Day", along with your beautiful "Poems".

Your uplifting words of encouragement are sure going to be missed my friend.

I "Thank You" for keeping all of us uplifted and inspired.

Just remember, Mother Theresa, never quit or gave up...

May "God Bless You" and keep you and your family in our Lords loving arms.

@gloriajean I'm so, so, so sorry.  I read your post every single day.  It lifted me up when I was down.  I can't believe this.  It's so wrong. They take something inspirational to many of us yet let others post yuk!  I'm so mad I could spit.

Though I never posted to you, just knowing I could count on you to be here made a huge difference.  Things won't be the same.

Shame on the complainers and on QVC.  Such a disappointment.

You touched my life. I loved your thread. I've had a very difficult year with family illnesses, someone trying to commit suicide, and my fiance leaving to be with his "baby mama," but your threads got me through. I did always look for these threads with my morning coffee before my classes, work, and ultimate new start to my teaching career!

On a side note, like someone mentioned, the board rules don't really forbid these threads, so it's hypocritical. *Sigh* But we love you, MIss Gloria Jean. I hope you see these messages of support.

I'm so sorry that it's come to this. I will miss your threads. Sometimes we all need positivity in our lives. I'm saddened that there are people who select being offended over seeing things for the spirit of which they are intended.

Stay blessed, Miss Gloria Jean.

It's not only on QVC that people are offended about this subject. am seeing the objection to things spiritual on Facebook and other sites more and more these days. Some even brag that their number is increasing.  Sad!

Gloria, you have been faithful and that's what God sees.

@gloriajean

i'm so sorry to read that you will no longer be posting your positive thread.   you've certainly been an inspiration to many, many posters and on occasion i have stopped by and read the threads myself.  just  knowing that you were here every day was a comfort.

they say when one door closes another opens.  i hope to see you around here in some other form and that you find great happiness doing it.

sending positive and loving thoughts your way and i look forward to seeing you in the future.  Heart
