I used to use the Alba Botanica lotion when we lived in the desert.  It was one of the first body lotions I had ever used.

I liked it better than the others I could find, partly because it was one of the few that I could find in those days that was unscented.  And not greasy.  I used it for quite a few years.

I bought it at a local health food store (which was relatively expensive) until they quit carrying it.  This was before Amazon or all the online options, so I had to go with something else after that.

Vitacost seems to have to best price but you have to spend $50 to get free shipping.  So you stock up.  I'm going to hold off until I know for sure that a stock-up is a good idea.

How are you going to manage that if BH is complaining about one extra bottle?

Price is justification.  But so is proof of use.  If I don't use the products, why buy more?

Let's see if I get through both bottles before the novelty wears off.

Re: The Bee Hive -- Winter 2020 Edition

I'm procrastinating.  It's something I'm really good at.  Years of practice.  Decades, even.  I should have a special certificate for my procrastination skills.  I could teach a class.  I could write a book.  Procrastination 101.

I could... but because I'm so very good at procrastinating, I'd never get around to it.

So a few weeks ago I stumbled across a website: Just Bee and Me.  I had posted some artwork a few weeks ago, then found the site.  Mugs, shirts, cards, coasters.  All bee.  And even Just Bee.

Well, today I just Googled Just Bee and there are sites and products galore.  There's even one business here in Albuquerque.  Food, clothes, cosmetics, lifestyle, vintage -- you name it, it's out there.

I do have to say that some of these sites are somewhat substandard.  I mean, if you're on a website and you still can't figure out what it's about, what they're selling and how to buy it, there's a problem.  Like this one Just Bee site that's selling a magnet that features a bee on top of the state of Illinois.  It says: Made in Illinois.  Why, I was made in Illinois, too!  I could buy one of those magnets.  Says there are three sizes.  Great.  What are the three sizes?  Who knows?  Can't seem to find that information on the site.  Same with the cool Just Bee button.  And the Friend of the Bees button.  Two sizes.  What are they?

I'm getting frustrated with all these flawed websites.  I had mentioned that I'd donated to a local organization and this year they wanted me to give them money via Pay Pal.  So I signed up even though I didn't want to, but then there seemed to be a problem so I ended up doing it all over again.  Did some digging and discovered I donated twice.  Fine.  I let it go.

Well, yesterday I checked my credit card statement again and both donations had vanished.

Well, this is frustrating.  I come up with an amount I want to donate, make a list of organizations, research them, then expect that they're going to get my donation.  Well, this one didn't.  Which means I could have given to two others instead.

Let it go.

Should be "its," not "it's."

Let it go.
