Two trips to the hospital in four days.  It is soul-crushing to see so many people in such terrible shape.  Very seriously ill people.

And many of them are very old.

Friday and Monday were depressing days.

One of my mother's favorites from 42nd Street.  She used to sing Shuffle Off to Buffalo all the time.

She wanted to live in Buffalo but it was just too expensive so she ended up shuffling off to Chicago.

My sisters are planning a trip and were bemoaning the fact that they can't get around like they used to so they need to take a bus.  They're a lot older than I am and already a lot more active.

I usually fall asleep on the couch on the days I have to get groceries.

I don't know why I saved Cranberry Autumn for cooler weather.  It would have been good all summer.  I think I was unduly influenced by the name.
