Yikes!  Heat and pain and nothing cold to drink?  You need to rest, repair and renew!  Do you have any time to take care of yourself?

Anyways, I'll be glad to see you when you're posting.  I hope work isn't too demanding.  I hope you're healed!  I hope you get an appetite back.  (When you said you were craving a slab of steak---I wanted to sear one for you---I can cook a mean steak!

They tax SS here, too.  And your pension.  Your really have to love where you live....I'm telling ya!

We aren't taking SS, yet, or tapping pension. Yet.

Ouch!  That is (literally) a pain! 😭

My body hasn't been functional enough lately to do my Pilates and so I haven't been doing my piriformis stretches.  I can feel the tightness so I really need to get back to at least some of the easier exercises or I'll end up in more pain.  

And the chiropractor caught my stomach problems.  (I didn't mention them.)  He said no more coffee would be a good idea.  

But Doc, it's Pumpkin Spice Latte season! ☕️🧋

Low wages, high taxes...hmm, that's sounds familiar.

Between state and local taxes the sales tax in my town is almost 10%.  And the state still taxes a little bit on food.  

Income tax is high too, for such a poor state.  I usually end up paying more to the state than the Feds.

And I had forgotten that they also tax used vehicles here too--a lot!😠

It didn't take long for word to get out that you're cleared for duty.😆

Sounds like things haven't changed much in that department since you've been gone.  Just don't overdo if you don't feel up to what they want to pile on you.  Pull a Nancy Reagan and "Just Say NO!"
