Hey everybody, haven't even felt like posting. Kind of fell into a funk lately. I am going to Ouray for the weekend and maybe the higher altitude and change of scenery will brighten my mood.

I'd never heard of Ouray and ended up googling it.  Sounds beautiful!

I've heard the same thing.  Very scenic.  Sometimes you just have to get away.

And you're fortunate to live in an area where you don't have to drive far to see something worth seeing.

@just bee I am someone who hates change so I get it. There are so many opportunities right now including work from home if that interests you and it is absolutely an employee's market.  I know the position you are in and respect your stance (someone has to take a stand 😒).

Ugh!!! I know your pain!!!!

I worked at a job I loved and I mean I loved.  But I moved to a different dept and went full time and it went down hill from there.

I worked with some real doozies.  Had a wimp of a boss.  I sat at dinner every night and literally broke down in tears just talking about my day. 

I did this for a week or two thinking I was just getting it off my chest and my husband said 'why don't you quit?'.  I did and I never looked back.  I couldn't even talk about it for a few years. 

Only kept in contact with one person, who is a very dear friend.  After almost 20 years with a company.

I don't even think I dreaded going in to work every day.  It's guess I didn't think it could get any worse!

My last day happened to be on St. Valentine's day.  So as many were getting bouquets of red roses delivered to their desks.  I complimented one woman on her flowers and she looked at me, knowing it was my last day and said something like 'oh shut up'.
