Among Friends

hello all

not much today

listening to music on pandora 

got both walks in today. one i was dry one walk i was wet,did have on my raincoat. began raining here about noonish or so. dad came and got grandson. mom drove  granddaughter back to college yesterday,she spent the night this time around,she is on way back.

made home made beef stew for dinner tonight, in slow cooker.

not much else. later guys.

You know, this goes back a very long time.

Boot Italians speak Italiano and Sicilianos don’t. Two totally different people.

Boot Italians don’t consider Sicilianos Italiano and want the Island to be removed from Italia. This goes back many many years of caca.

I think that says it all!

My Italian mother warned me: Never marry an Italian!

When I was dating one she took one look at him and said: His nose is small.  He must be Sicilian.

I was instructed to find out where his family was from.

I was at his parents' home, having dinner with them.  I began with: My mother's family is from Abruzzo.

His mother's lip curled.  We're from Parma!

Things went downhill after that.

A shame, because my mother and sister were crazy about him.

Every time my mother's family got together they argued about the same thing.

I have to laugh!  I brought home my cats from college and one of them was Mabel.

She had to approve all those who entered the house.

The great thing about we Italianos is we can argue about air, grass, it doesn’t matter what. We are born to argue, drink, eat, drink some more, and start all over again.
