Re: The Bee Hive -- March 2022 Edition

Gotta get the dog out.

Cold and windy today. Woman Sad

Already watched Road to Perdition twice this morning.

I asked for it--spring. 🌹

So we went from ice to barely under 70 degrees last night.  And everything is wet with dew.  Strong storms tonight, with temperatures plunging tomorrow down below freezing again.

Yep, it's March.  🌩🌪⛈

I've never watched that movie.  I did lay in bed this a.m. and watched a movie I recorded back in January.

Guide for the Married Man.  Walter Matthau and I have no idea who played his wife or his best friend, but a ton of other actors and actresses made cameos (Lucille Ball, Art Carney, Jack Benny (omgosh I just discovered him!), Jayne Mansfield, Millie Helper (lol) and poor Jackie Joseph  --cast as an undesireable.)

It was a stupid movie, but I like those, too.Woman Tongue

My cats don't play.  They never would let their guard down.  They didn't even play when they were outside.  Maybe it's because it's mother/daughter?  They won't even play with toys.  All they do is sleep.  All night and all day.  Only time they are awake is when they hear the feeders go off.  Then off like a shot!

Re: The Bee Hive -- March 2022 Edition

hey all

raining quite hard today. rather warm out. was soaked after my morn walk.had to change clothes

half gallon of dawn dish soap spilled all over my junk room. it fell off the bottom shelf of my 3 tier shelving unit. fell maybe 2 inch and the top must have become loose, what a mess. had enough paper towels to clean up the mess, used 3=4 rolls of paper towels to sop up the mess, and mopping with buckets of cold water helped enough to clean the jiunk room floor

not much else today

Black moon parties - whats the deal?

Make sure you get every trace of it off surfaces you care about.

Who knows -- maybe the formula has changed since my college days.  But back when I was living with female roommates, someone spilled Dawn on the kitchen floor and didn't wipe it up.

No one wiped it up because we were all waiting for the responsible party to do it.

The stuff ate through the kitchen linoleum.

I watched The Trouble with Angels yesterday.  Still great. Heart

Why haven't you watched Road to Perdition?  The score and cinematography are just gorgeous.  Fantastic performances.  Probably my favorite from Tom Hanks.

Put it on your list of things to watch.  It'll be worth it!

And this is a problem?

Yup.  It has sprung here, too.

The wind just exacerbates the already unsettled feeling.

@just bee No, well, yes.  The mother cat is overweight.  She needs to lose weight.  If I took her to the vet right now, I'd probably get slapped.  I eased them onto a diet per vet, she showed me how much to feed them and the little one lost weight, but Mama is Mama Cass, still.
