I asked the associate about it and he said that they're just moving things around to make room for the $5 items.

The packages of candy that were $1 are now $1.25.

I still haven't gone into our neighborhood Five Below store, but I have a feeling that the dollar stores are going to look pretty much the same.

Guess I'll stop at Dollar General to pick up more candy since my Dollar Tree is under transformation.

Hmmmm......

Very interesting about Dollar Tree and $5.00 items.  I just wonder what they will be and where on earth they will find room for them in my stores.  I like to go there for gift bags, tissue and greeting cards.  And I like some of their seasonal decoration items.  I just found two really cute felt bunnies.

I also like their jigsaw puzzles.  They are smaller and I can work them quicker than some of the larger more expensive ones.  I hope they do not ruin themselves trying to have too much and too expensive.  Will be interesting to see what they come up with.
