And this is a problem?
@just bee No, well, yes. The mother cat is overweight. She needs to lose weight. If I took her to the vet right now, I'd probably get slapped. I eased them onto a diet per vet, she showed me how much to feed them and the little one lost weight, but Mama is Mama Cass, still.
My older cat is, well, chubby. It's hard to tell just looking at him because he's a long haired cat. Which may well be part of the problem--I keep feeding him more than he needs because I can't really tell by looking at him that he weighs more than he should.
His weight gain started about the time his "older brother" passed on. But that also was about the time he turned two years old, which is the time most slow down and eat more. I thought by getting him a buddy he would perk up and get more active again, but it hasn't worked out that way.
But in the end, it's really my fault because he begs for more food and I accommodate him. It's also hard to keep track of who's eating what since both cats eat from both bowls.

Cold and windy today.
Already watched Road to Perdition twice this morning.
I've never watched that movie. I did lay in bed this a.m. and watched a movie I recorded back in January.
Guide for the Married Man. Walter Matthau and I have no idea who played his wife or his best friend, but a ton of other actors and actresses made cameos (Lucille Ball, Art Carney, Jack Benny (omgosh I just discovered him!), Jayne Mansfield, Millie Helper (lol) and poor Jackie Joseph --cast as an undesireable.)
It was a stupid movie, but I like those, too.
I watched The Trouble with Angels yesterday. Still great.
Why haven't you watched Road to Perdition? The score and cinematography are just gorgeous. Fantastic performances. Probably my favorite from Tom Hanks.
Put it on your list of things to watch. It'll be worth it!
You piqued my curiosity about 'Perdition' and I googled it. IIRC, it skeered me.
I can only do corny movies any more. Seriously.
I enjoy The Trouble with Angels, too.
I always got Jane Russell and Rosalind Russell mixed up.
I just deleted Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (w/Jane R.) about 2 minutes into it because it was too corny. lol
And only lasted 5 mins and deleted Let's Make Love.
Must've been a Marilyn Marathon I recorded.
Although I do love How to Marry a Millionaire! I could watch that like you watch Road to Perdition! Over and over and over.

raining quite hard today. rather warm out. was soaked after my morn walk.had to change clothes
half gallon of dawn dish soap spilled all over my junk room. it fell off the bottom shelf of my 3 tier shelving unit. fell maybe 2 inch and the top must have become loose, what a mess. had enough paper towels to clean up the mess, used 3=4 rolls of paper towels to sop up the mess, and mopping with buckets of cold water helped enough to clean the jiunk room floor
not much else today
Yikes! That's taking cleaning to extreme heights!🧽🪣🧼

So we went from ice to barely under 70 degrees last night. And everything is wet with dew. Strong storms tonight, with temperatures plunging tomorrow down below freezing again.
Yep, it's March. 🌩🌪⛈
Be careful what you wish for. 🤷♀️
Yup. It has sprung here, too.
The wind just exacerbates the alreay unsettled feeling.
Those spring winds sent me to bed. And the palo verde pollen was miserable. The blooms smelled nice, but that pollen was murder.

I thought we were celebrating obesity now. Healthy at every size and all that.
I was getting ready to bake some cookies just to celebrate.

Funny you should mention Rosalind Russell.
I was reading about all the name changes across the country because someone might be offended. For instance, the g___y moth. Now it's to be referred to as the spongy moth.
Does that mean we have to change the name of the Rosalind Russell movie G___y?
The story of G___y Rose Lee? Who just happened to appear in The Trouble with Angels? Maybe angels weren't the trouble. Maybe it was just G___y's name offending everyone.
Is Broadway going to start calling g___ies something else now? Mobile cast members?
These are things I need to know.

Spongy Rose Lee.
Let's not forget the old Cher song, G___ies, Tramps & Thieves. What's offensive is that it's often spelled G____ys. The plural of g___y is g____ies, not g____ys.
I think I'll take the dog out for a ride. To C______s Park, maybe.
Later!
