I might clean out my desk drawer.
Or not.
@just bee - Simply surviving. I think "fun" is a thing of the past. Boy, aren't I cheerful?
@rnmom @just bee, I think fun is what we need to get back to. At least a little bit of fun. I think that is my problem lately, everything is so serious and I have gotten that way myself.
In March, I have a lot of organizing to do which isn’t so much fun but I am going to try and get out for some long walks and some hiking if I can. Well more walking/hiking than real hiking. But maybe I will try and find some new places. I did that one year with finding different parks to explore and it was fun. It is time to shake off some of this stench.

I do think I need to take a break from current events. I want to stay informed but dont think it is doing me any good mentally. It is crazy. And the few reasonable people I talk to about things dont seem to want to talk about these things any longer. I dont blame them but what a flip flop and it surprised me. But, it makes me appreciate you ladies even more for the conversations or pseudo conversations we have here. You all are consistent here which I really treasure. Even if we dont all agree, you all remain consistent. Thank you!
So, this is my third or forth day of eating less junk food. I still eat it, just not all day long. I will try and keep to it this time. Normally I do good for a few days and then revert back. But the reality is, I may need to go back to the office physically soon and I will be in big trouble. I refuse to buy a bigger size because I just grew into all the bigger sizes I bought.
I watched the movie 100 Degrees Below Zero the other day. Omgosh, it was so bad and quite ridiculous but I couldnt turn away. There was a girl running around in a short sleeve v neck. Um, okay.
I may need to starting drink some of this wine I have. I dont even know if it is good because I dont have it stored correctly. But, I think I need to find a snack for now and try to find something to watch and just kick back.
TGIF!!
Do you store it in a bottle?
That's what I do and it tastes just fine.
I like to have a glass as I'm not watching the news. I wasted too many years on cable news. I'm done.
@just bee, yes, it is in bottles but stored upright. I never had a problem with that but someone recently mentioned it should be stored on its side to keep the cork moist. It doesnt matter as I don’t have the room to do that anyway. I need to at least start cooking with it with a glass on the side. 🥳

I'm a mean cat Mommy. No cats are allowed in our bedroom.
They have their own bedroom and the livingroom and my reading nook. They aren't allowed in two other bedrooms, either. Doors are always closed.
I don't want a cat waking me up all night. Jump up, jump down, jump up, jump down. I don't want cat hair on our bed.
I wouldn't care to see Batman, either, @Brisky . I saw just one back in the early 90s and was sooo bored. Was with Michael Keaton, I think.
We did take 3 grandkids to see Sing 2 last Friday night and I loved it.
It's amazing how these animated films for kids are so entertaining (to me, anyways, and my husband enjoyed it, too).
It was *cousins weekend* at our house last weekend. We had a great time. Most of the grandchildren spent both nights. We played hard and ate good. What more could I ask for?
It's a real sheet show out there, isn't it? Very scary.

That it is.

It's funny how everyone seems to be singing and dancing on TV commercials lately.
I remember an old Sparks song from the 70s.

"Hello soldier boy,"
oh boy, shes spewing out her propaganda, propaganda
Might makes right, though you're wrong,
you're right to fight her propaganda, propaganda, propaganda
"Come to our side", she does say
"Come on over", she does say
Well I don't need more
Competition for
Her affection
You should fight on
Fight on
Over there

That was our fun. And now with all the dog s__t and out of control dogs mishandled by whacko dog owners, it's not fun anymore.
Go to your favorite restaurant? It's closed.
Go catch a movie? Your neighborhood theater is closed.
Take a road trip? If you can afford it.
Is fun even an option now?

When we first moved out here I bought a wine rack. It's about six feet tall. Wrought iron and glass.
I wasn't drinking wine then, but there was something about this thing I liked. BH has never liked it.
I have to say that it's one of those rare items that I bought, thinking I would use it one day, and I'm actually using it.
And yes, the bottles are on their sides, pointing down.
You can also buy wine that doesn't have corks. Some of my favorites are twist-off. ![]()

Yep, that's exactly what happens at my house!
Especially with the two together. They rarely wrestle except when I change sheets!😩
Cats are strange.

"Fun" for me is a whole week when nothing breaks down. And, if I'm really lucky, getting more than two hours of sleep a night.
Whatever "fun" is for you, I hope you have a bunch of it!🎊
