I had to post the new month early because, after work in the morning, I need to swing by the Cancer Center and get disconnected from my toxic ball.

I've already s_cked up most of the contents.

Stacey-Ann May: You cannot chase two rabbits at the same time

So when am I supposed to say "rabbit, rabbit?"  Midnight?

Or is it "rabbit, rabbit, rabbit?"

"But it's not to be uttered just any old random day. Rather, if you say it on the first day of the month before any other words come out of your mouth, then luck is thought to be coaxed your way."

Bet you'll be relieved to be relieved of your toxic ball.  Didn't the last one take longer to be absorbed?

Are you up to working tonight?

@geezerette

It'll be the first night I'll be working with my biohazard ball and fanny pack.  I need to hide them under my scrubs and be extra cautious.

I'd taken two days off after the port placement and introductory infusion to see how I was adjusting to it all.

I mentioned on another thread that at 4 AM Saturday morning at work I suddenly became very aware of this "thing" in my chest.

I felt like John Hurt in Alien.

There's something in my chest!  Aaaarrrgggghhh!

There will be good days and not-so good days.  But they pumped me full of fluids and steroids yesterday so I should be fine tonight. Woman LOL

However, if you have a rabbit and a rabbit, you'll soon have "rabbit, rabbit, rabbit".

Well, be careful!

No, I s_cked that one up pretty quickly, too.

I'm an RN.  I should be able to disconnect myself, but then what do I do with the biohazard?

I think I'll be swinging by the Cancer Center to let them do it.   Only takes a few minutes and they can keep an eye on my port.

That's right.  I'd never heard of it until she mentioned it.

She's probably off walking the beach, or cleaning, or eating healthy.

I feel like such a slug.
