Re: The Bee Hive -- June 2021 Edition

Brisk back in the hive. Nothing new going on here.I think that might be a good thing 🤔. Suzy came back home and I was happy to see her.🙂 Doesn't take alot these days to make me happy. I am liking the predictable things in my life.
Guess, I will go with the Bosch. It has the best reviews.
Hope all is well where your at....
PS, I really miss my ex. To those that know me...will understand.🙂

@Brisky

If your ex is my ex, then I understand.

Haven't had any snakes, but I've had a couple more box turtles.  A new one appeared yesterday, headed into the cul-de-sac on garbage day.  Didn't want to find him flattened in the street so I got out of the car, picked him up and put him in the yard.  He was spunky and didn't appreciate being relocated.

Don't know where they're coming from...

@Brisky   Sure hope you like your Bosch as much as I like mine.

I miss my ex very much.  Wonder if we all have the same ex?????

It is a beautiful morning here and sadly I am being a lazy slug and skipping my morning walk.  I made some of my favorite coffee and watched a bit of A M Style.  I really like Leah and rarely get to watch it.

Went to another of my little grandson's TBall games Thursday evening.💕💕    These little ones are just a hoot.  Somehow a very scared rabbit ended up on the field and the players all rushed to chase it and abandoned their positions.  🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Then right in the middle of the game, as he was playing short stop, my little grand ran off field to us and told my daughter "I have to go pee!!!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I cannot wait for the next game!

BH and I always watched the Little League World Series.  I just checked the website and it looks like it's happening this August -- just without the international teams.

We like watching the kids because there's still some sportsmanship.  That's not always apparent in MLB games.  Which we no longer watch.

@viva923

I don't know where to begin.

I remember when I was in high school and had no idea which end was up, a school counselor asked me what college I planned to attend and what I intended to study.  This was news to me.  A conversation I hadn't yet had with my family.

At this time in my life I had no idea what a salary was.  No idea how much my mother brought home in a year or what my father had made when he was alive or what my stepfather earned.  No idea what my siblings were making at their jobs.  We just didn't discuss it.  And I wish we had.

All I knew -- the only guideline I had -- was that you were doing okay if you were "making your age."  So if you were twenty you should be making $20K.  At thirty, $30K.  At forty, $40K.

That was then.  Things have changed.

I have changed careers several times in my life and have started at the bottom every time just to work my way up again.  But there aren't as many options out there when you're of a certain age.

All I can say is this: Wait for the dust to settle and see what's what. Heart
