Hello everyone!😃❤️

I'm sorry I didn't get to post a lot these past couple weeks.  My mom finally got her cast off.  She's now wearing the brace, but will have to do physical therapy.  All the appointments plus the garden has left me with little time for chatting with my Forum FRIENDS.

Lookung forward to a slower paced July.  Hopefully, I'll get to go swimming at least once lol.😃❤️

I remembered on June 1st and it really didn't work out for me.

Right now I'm waiting for a call back from the vet to get more pain medication for Carla.

Thanks, G, for saying what I'm thinking.  I hesitate to suggest it because it might not be the solution.  But brother cat is hurting.

That has to be ripping your heart out, @aprilskies.  Is there a foster program in your area?

I'm sure glad to be back.  It seems as though I've been running everyday since the end of April.  I'll be looking forward to some time at home without so many appointments.

She's been in serious pain for the past several days.  Previously I've only been giving her pain medication as needed, but it seems that now she needs it twice daily. It works great, but I've used up my precious supply.

I'm hoping he'll give the ok for me to just pick up extra meds without having to bundle her up and take her in for an exam in this weather.  

And I'm still waiting for my a/c part to come in and be installed so I have two things that need immediate attention.  And naturally they both happen at holiday time when places are closing.

I miss the old vet with an office staff that knew me and my animals so I could get answers on the spot.

Yes, just getting another cat isn't always a good solution to a heartbreaking situation.  

Possibly some sort of calming meds or natural alternative?  Although I personally really only resort to something like that if I absolutely have to.
