Two weeks ago, it was in the 70s here.  Now, apparently, our drip system has frozen.

Friday night at work was also unfortunate.  Two nurses called in so I ended up being in charge.

 

I dislike that role.  Intensely.  I've always preferred a supporting role.

 

Stayed late to deal with some issues and, by the time I was ready to leave, I grabbed what I could and headed for the door.

 

It wasn't until yesterday, at some point, I realized I left the only good thing behind.

 

One of the techs' sons showed up with flowers in vases for each nurse.

 

I left without my roses.  It was such a thoughtful gift and now I feel bad.
