How funny.  I tossed all my fragrances after the fire (and there were many -- including an unopened bottle of pure grace eau de parfum) and I've gone unscented ever since.

But what did I do this morning?  Checked out pure grace online, and then a few other fragrances.

I think it's because that's when I collected most of my fragrances in the past and some part of my brain remembers that.

Talked myself out of restarting that habit...

I'm perfectly happy being scentless too--at home.  But when I'm out, especially at doctor/dentist, and apt to be in close proximity of other people, I'm conscious of my clothes not having a 'neutral' scent.  Especially if I've been cooking, when everything in the house can smell like onions or something equally fragrant.

I think that comes from a childhood hang up.  Being hugged by old people that smelled like liver and onions.  Or going into an older person's home that has been closed up and getting hit by that stale smell.  Not gonna do it.

Nor am I going the opposite way and smelling like an overpowering floral perfumery.

Did you get Pure Grace? I’m leaning into getting a new Philosophy shower gel and lotion. I miss it. PG? FIL?

Do they even still make FIL?🥴 Haven’t looked in years.

I'm seeing falling in love on QVC's site, but I didn't see it on the philosophy site.

Seeing a lot of newer fragrances... all foreign to me now.

Last night and today warmer. We were getting teens at night and 30s day. The dog’s water bowl was frozen solid and had to turn on the pump house heater, no water briefly a couple of mornings

Finally made our Thanksgiving stuffed squash yesterday. Sausage, rice, quinoa, dried cherries, diced squash, onion, sage, maple syrup, fig balsamic, curry powder, red chili flakes.

got me new bath soap

I feel like BH and I received an early Christmas gift.

We've had the same city trash receptacle for 25-30 years now.  It's pretty banged up, the lid is cattywampus, it leaks and it smells funky.  BH requested a new one.

They delivered it today.

A thing of beauty.  So shiny, so clean.

This is what it's come to.  Getting excited about a new trash receptacle.

I haven't been there in years.  I always used to find great things there, too.  I'd stock philosophy shower gels, artsy mugs, Yorkshire tea...

Loved that place.
