Only thing I'm taking tonight to my friend's is a bottle of red and a bottle of white.  For Channukah, I gave her a charcuterie board from the same artist that did my piece.  She's ordered out through a restaurant for catering tonight.

Husband worked on the cat thingy ALL day.  He had to go to the lumber yard for more wood because I was worried about the stairs....don't want to bug him to load pics to my computer.

Canceled.  They're expecting an important delivery so they suggested dinner instead.  It's just better if we take a rain check.

BH and I had pretty much planned our week around this lunch date.  When he realized how the change would impact our New Year's Eve meal plan, he suggested that the two of us stick with the original plan -- but just the two of us.

I was on board for that.  Then our friend called and said the items were delivered, let's do lunch.

The older I get, the less spontaneous I am.  I need time to prepare and talk myself into things.

Now I'm out of the shower and don't have time for anything other than getting dressed.  So we might as well keep the original date.
