This isn't happening in your house, is it?
Not yet.
Although peaches are some of the few things of mine they don't want to taste!😻

@just bee - He's okay. Overall he's not bad for a puppy, I just don't have the stamina to deal with it right now. He still tinkles when he gets excited. It's better, but he still does some. I was hoping he'd outgrow that but not yet. He's 8 months old now and he just has puppy energy.
If I could go back to February and never get him I would. I feel bad saying that but it was so peaceful in the house without him, now it's just more chaos and I just don't have the patience for it. There's just too much else going on.
@rnmom We had a neighbor who had a puppy that *went* whenever visitors came to the door. What set it off to have accidents is when company would pet her, she would be so happy she'd spin and spin and then there would be a little puddle. So they learned to take her out the back door as people were approaching the front door!
That got old. lol
So everyone was told to ignore here when they came in. There was even a note in their little entryway/foyer that said *Please Ignore the Dog!*.
I'm sure some people were baffled by that as though maybe it was a guard dog. It was Min Pin!
Is that when your dog has accidents?

Aw.❤️
But I can relate, although my life is far from full at this point. Hindsight is always 20/20. I can look back and see why I ended up with Carla, and now I realize it wasn't because I really wanted another dog. I only wish I had realized what was really going on in my mind at that time.
The good thing is that if you have some patience, Tucker will grow out of most--if not all--of what is problematic for you now. He's only eight months old and look at his progress already! Remember how frustrating he was just a few months ago. Give him another few months and he'll be even better.
And then there are all the good times you have with him. They're sure to increase as he ages. 😉💕🐾
Life has been "challenging" for most of us lately. (I hate that expression, but this is a public forum, after all. 😉) Even if you didn't have him, you'd still have other things to stress you out. And you won't have a nice fuzzy cuddlebug to snuggle with or laugh at when he's being silly. And at least he doesn't shed.😆
Have a great weekend. I imagine it's been hectic with everyone getting ready for back to school. Things will be settling down soon, I'm sure. Hang in there--always good to hear from you!❤️
@geezerette - Thank you for your kind words of wisdom. Life has been "challenging" lately for sure and beyond hectic. We are so busy and have so much to do I can barely keep it all straight. My head is spinning and some days I'm just exhausted and having him around just doesn't help.
Hopefully things will settle down in the next couple of months and I can get at least a little break. I'm TRYING to be patient, some days it just hard.

Who said puppies are easy?
Huge responsibility! Huge expense!
But then there comes that time when you forget about all of it because that puppy is a well-adjusted adult who is the love of your life.
It doesn't last long. They're gone before you know it.
But that skinny poodle tongue...
...up your nose one minute, down your throat the next, will remind you that all the hard work was worth it.
(Might want to ****** that in the bud, by the way.)
@just bee - Yeah, I forgot what a huge job it was when I agreed to it. We hadn't had a puppy in 25 years, now I remember why. NEVER again.
He does like to give kisses.
He looks a lot like picture #2 except his nose is brown too. He's not as big as we thought he was going to be, he's only about 40 lbs and not super tall. I was expecting him to be bigger.

@Lucky Charm - That is definitely part of it. We try to rush him outside if someone new comes over or if the boys come home from school/work unless he has just been out. He even does it if we've been gone a couple hours, we have to rush him from the crate to right outside.
It does seem to be mostly when he's excited. I had hoped he's start to outgrow it some. And it is better, but he still does it. I can't imagine if he does it for the rest of his life. I don't know if I'll be able to stand that.
