If that's the case about all your hardware being removed, you might indeed initially have more of a recovery period than with just the partial toe amputation.  It would probably be for the best in the long run though.  Get all that dead and foreign material out of your body, heal up, and your infections should finally stop. 🤞

Still no way you're going to stay down long, though.

I about had a heart attack watching the USA men's basketball vs. Serbia game.  In fact, I almost turned it off because I just knew they were going to lose.  

But that second half.😮‍💨  I can see now why some of the big boys of the NBA get the accolades they do.  Man did they pull it out of the fire.

The Serbian team was absolutely fantastic and never quit.  Kudos to them.

Gold medal match Saturday:  USA vs France.  Now that is going to be a loud one!  Not sure I'll watch.  I'm not sure my heart will take it.

As for me, I generally don't watch sports.  I play sports.

We still haven't used our beautiful new shower!

We haven't used the new tub or shower in the master bath, either.

We use the old school tub that we "saved" after the fire for our showers.

Just don't want to see that new shower destroyed by our hard water.

99% of our showers have been outside.  I love taking my shower outside.  Even if it's pouring out....

I have ancestors that hailed from those two states.

Oh I know Christiana Mall area well.  I've never been to the mall.  But when I realized I took a wrong turn and ended up next to it on Saturday---the worst traffic jam I think I've ever been in!---I literally screamed out loud in my car.

Little side note:  Charles Barkley named his daughter Christiana because he used to pass the signs for Christiana Mall when on the road.
