We have something similar to those caves close to us. Mesa Verdes! Went for the first time as a child! Took my children also.... When I first saw them I was around 7 years old. I thought they were so cool.😎 Obviously, I was inspired....🤣

I missed the thread, darn it!

Can't even watch news. Nope, that's all I can say.....just no.
DH cousin will be laid to rest way to young with his 1st child on the way. Just not good.

Hope you are all doing OK.
Hang loose or at least try to........
Brisk out for now........
Dig those pictures and glad your getting out to see this ...

@Brisky

I can't even imagine.  So sorry about this.  DH must be devastated.

@Brisky

Man, that just sux.

That is so hard for the family.  And worse yet for the child growing up without knowing its father.

This has affected so many people in so many ways.  And none of them good.

@Brisky, I cant tell you how sorry I am to hear of your family’s loss.  There is a whole host of feelings to work out.  And with a baby on the way....  I hope his wife finds the strength....

Hang in there.

We've taken a couple day trips recently and yesterday we ended up in Los Alamos.  We realized that we visited it when we first moved here but we never really saw the city where people lived.  So we drove around and discovered that there's a real lack of signage in that town.  Like highway signs.  We drove in circles trying to figure how to get out of there.

We found a neighborhood of upscale homes on Los Pueblos Street.  Each house had an artsy metal sculpture on the mailbox.

But this is a neighborhood where you don't want that extra glass of Chardonnay after dinner and before the dog's evening walk.  The street is at the top of a canyon.  One misstep and they'll never find your body.

But we did find a fruit stand and bought melons, peaches and nectarines from our neighbor to the north (Colorado).

@just bee, see -we know how to have fun once in a while. Now we just have to make it a permanent thing.

@just bee @geezerette, eww, I caught part of that thread on CC, but I missed the majority of it.  Too bad it was teeing up to be a good one. I usually miss these things so reading through a few pages was entertaining.

The problem I have with 'fun' is that it requires energy.  Ugh.

[ Edited ]

It is a beautiful day @viva923 .  The sky is gorgeous here in Jersey.  Crisp clear air and was kinda chilly at daybreak.

I knocked my back out of whack last night, I guess weeding the yard.  Hurried and cut back yard before the storm/nightfall.  It was the weeds that got me!

Had house all opened up and enjoying the wind that came through.  But new neighbor has a 25+ft boat parked in front of his house and is power washing it.  Spray going everywhere!  NOT COOL.  There's a beautiful white Ford F350 parked right behind it and I feel bad for that owner getting all that salty muck on his windsheild/window.  Again.  NOT COOL.
