You catch the most entertaining thread we've had in a long time over in CC?
Aw shucks!
I didn't even make it past the first page when it evaporated.
You snooze, you lose!
I guess these posts will go the same route...

We toured many of those ruins years ago. Fascinating!
No such things as guard rails in those days.

We've taken a couple day trips recently and yesterday we ended up in Los Alamos. We realized that we visited it when we first moved here but we never really saw the city where people lived. So we drove around and discovered that there's a real lack of signage in that town. Like highway signs. We drove in circles trying to figure how to get out of there.
We found a neighborhood of upscale homes on Los Pueblos Street. Each house had an artsy metal sculpture on the mailbox.
But this is a neighborhood where you don't want that extra glass of Chardonnay after dinner and before the dog's evening walk. The street is at the top of a canyon. One misstep and they'll never find your body.
But we did find a fruit stand and bought melons, peaches and nectarines from our neighbor to the north (Colorado).

Glad to hear you're getting out and about a little.
A change of scenery is good for the soul once in a while. Especially out where you are -- lots of God's Country to take a deep breath in. ❤️

We walked around Valles Caldera yesterday...
... but the trip that was really impressive was the one to Catron County. Finally made it to Pie Town and bought a couple small pies.
For some reason that part of the state has received about 400% of its annual rainfall and everything was sooo green. Wildflowers everywhere!

We have something similar to those caves close to us. Mesa Verdes! Went for the first time as a child! Took my children also.... When I first saw them I was around 7 years old. I thought they were so cool.😎 Obviously, I was inspired....🤣
I missed the thread, darn it!
Can't even watch news. Nope, that's all I can say.....just no.
DH cousin will be laid to rest way to young with his 1st child on the way. Just not good.
Hope you are all doing OK.

Brisk out for now........
Dig those pictures and glad your getting out to see this ...
I can't even imagine. So sorry about this. DH must be devastated.
