I guess there are two ways to look at all this increased tornado activity.

One group attributes this to climate change.  Another group is thinking: Someone must really be p___ed off.

They say Tornado Alley is shifting east.

Opening Day of baseball came and went with little fanfare.

It used to be a big thing.  Of course, there was a time when baseball was a big thing.

I have my tax appointment today.  I'm up early because I'm supposed to be getting my tax information together.

As you can see, I'm doing other things.

I feel terrible.  WGD went into the front room to do his morning ritual: Sunbathing.  And I stood there and watched him.

He's lost most of his hearing so he didn't know I was there.  I startled him.

Yesterday, I had 5 or 6 kids shouting (don't know why, but everything is shouted!) right in front of me, but between braces and Long Island accents, I could only understand every 3 words.  And then nothing made sense anyway.

My hearing is horrible, I don't even wear the *amplification* hearing aids.  As @geezerette (I think) said, her sister doesn't wear hers.  Mine makes everything sound *tinny* and makes my ears i-t-c-h.  I thought I'd love them, you can't even see them.  But, they don't really work....

And also, I carry with me, at all times, ear plugs.  Yes, bright orange or bright yellow ear plugs.  And when I'm at a basketball game and the buzzer goes off, I'm not going to faint from the sound.  Or standing next to the man yesterday who shouted at the top of his lungs at the soccer game.  Non stop.  

I have extremely sensitive hearing, but bad hearing.
