I have seen many of these movies. Not all of course! I guess I am looking for distraction.

Chaos is caused to distract people from the real issues.
It is what they want.

The truth is hiding but will come out.
Brisk out for now....Spring is getting here and my head can feel it. 😫

Re: The Bee Hive -- April 2022 Edition

I finally managed to see The King's Speech.  (I like Colin Firth too.)  I had recorded it several months ago but when I went to watch it, there had been some sort of 'error' and it wasn't there.  Just recently I found a whole new set of channels that run 'older' movies I don't think I was getting before.  I guess I need to run through the program guide on a regular basis.

I had to delay my recycling/shopping venture this morning to watch Friendly Persuasion.  It was one of the Anthony Perkins offerings on TCM.  But, of course, it's one of my favorite Gary Cooper films.  I think that's why I like Kevin Costner.  He reminds me of a modern day Coop.

Speaking of Costner, I watched Revenge yesterday.  One of his older films--1990, I think.  I almost turned it off when Anthony Quinn threw his dog in the pool because I suspected there would be dog violence.  I didn't, but there was.  Subtle, thankfully.  But I wouldn't have been as forgiving as Costner in the end.
