Driving to a local town this morning and our truck read -31! Yup that's pretty darn cold!

In CT, down by the shoreline of Long Island Sound, it’s a balmy 13 degrees, which isn’t bad compared some others!  And I’m sure many others and us also have the 8” of snow from the bomb cyclone storm- 

My poor rescue who is 1/2 Chihuahua longs for Mexico and simply refuses to go out, so we’ve had to make her nervous intentionally to scare the p/ss out of her in our basement. Ya gotta do what you can....   Good times!

Hi--About 15 miles from LA--70--Maybe it will get a little higher. Never know around here. It says some rain next week. Will see. Stay warm. I know the cold from being raised in no.Minnesota.

I almost feel guilty checking in from the Charlottesville, VA area at 20° and sunny. It has though, been dipping down into the teens at night and windchills have taken us into the single digits. 

A couple of days ago, several water mains broke in the city of Charlottesville. What a mess for those who live there and those of us who commute through to work.
