I went to the thrift store on Friday and found a few things that I could repurpose.  I didn't take before pictures, but I found some images that show the general idea.

 

I picked this up for a few bucks.  I decided to take it apart, cover it with fabric and ribbon, and in scrap materials I have a totally different look.

Here it is now, with Laurel Burch cat fabric. Cat Very Happy
