K-12 two solo cups, one green, one red with the bottoms glued together. When the green side was up, student understood instructions, was doing well on activity, etc. if the red side was up, student was stuck or needed help. It kept anyone from feeling like they were only one not getting it and teacher knew immediately when lesson wasn't going well or going too fast.

Students shouldn't have to sit in uncomfortable chairs all class. It is important that students are comfortable and are able to move while learning. These chairs can be used during reading groups. Students will have something to look forward to when they are doing their reading groups. Learning will be fun! The fact that the "chairs" are close to each other promote community building and collaborative learning.:

Old dog, here. Are these for seats?🙄

Love it! I believe grades don't matter, learning is what's important ! How clever to get kids to learn and raise grade! It's a win-win!  I always let my students retake test as often as needed to get a better grade, provided, they came for extra help or could prove he studied . If he couldn't show me he'd actually gotten help and really studied, then both grades were kept!

Never underestimate the power of kindness.
