I was just wondering what service do they use. And is it different from the online ones used by many people. I have been using TaxAct and never had a problem just wondering what the professionals use.

Not a professional here but I would think what they use is proprietary.
Otherwise, why go to a professional?

When you do multiple taxes for a business, legally you cannot use programs like Tax Act, TurboTax, etc. Those programs are supposed to be for one time use. I'm sure there are some offices that use such programs and get away with it.
We use an Intuit program but it's a professional series.

We use a fantastic local guy that also does DH's business.
I just wanted to mention that H & R Block offers "Second Look". Free, they go through your taxes and figure them. If they can make you money and they give you the corrected copy that's when the charge comes. I was a receptionist for them last season, and really, no gimic. You can drop 'em off and pick 'em up.
