hello guys,

dh is putting up new whole room fan. it runs 24/7 during summer, it gave us 20 yrs of service. it became so noisy had to be replaced. dh is replacing the fan now. pretty much same design. just quieter motor.

actually is slightly cooler today. wind is more out of nor-east today.

got a call in from grand daugh at college. she is lonely already. i know she can do it. she isn't use to being on her own. this band camp is also stressing her out. 12-15 hour days of non stop rehearsing. only day they are allowed to sleep in is sunday till noon then it is back to work till 10pm tonight drills. they have to be ready for incoming college people friday and parents day this coming friday. the college opens up for school next week.   I know how I was when i went to nurse school so many yrs ago. I cried the first night myself to sleep but something just kicked in and by golly i survived. i did it, and i know she can too. she has never been away from home before. 

got my walk in this morn. not bad walking comfortable

@NAES1 you write such heartfelt an eloquent words.  Like @possummink you could both could write novels.

My birthday was not the best from loosing my car keys, brand new iPhone stolen from my car then to top it off a huge strom with branches down all over the streets and yards plus the Cable tv is still out.

  Many people have been without electricity for hours.  Mine was only off for 2 hours.   Steve is mad at me for loosing/stolen items.  Oh, well.  He will need me to watch Lewis

  Anyway that's a little recap of my awful weekend.  Usually I am positive and upbeat but this was challenging times.

  I must say that coming on to the Sidewalk Cafe today made me smile, laugh and cry happy tears.  You guys are the best.  Thank you for being my friend and lifting my spirits.
