@1Snickers   When I first got my two pups, I bought expensive coats.  The girl would wear it, but the male stood like a statue, lol, so he never did wear it, and now, I don't put the girl's on as we go under the roof eve where the rain doesn't hit.

That saleswoman should be fired, I imagine you are not the first customer who was treated badly.

I had a plumbing company that did two huge jobs, and while explaining the current job to be done which required the water company to come out to show me where the line for the defunct, leaking sprinkler pipes were, this huge, tall Russian guy, who had been nice before, began yelling at me that I was wrong, so I reported him.

The owner said the guy wanted to call and apologize, but I said I never wanted to see him again, though they did do the job, and he did apologize, but I think it was only for he being wrong in telling me I was wrong, because he was told by the water company that I was right, not for yelling at me, as I was quickly walking away and entering the house.  I just won't tolerate rude, obnoxious people.

It is only 5 degrees here this morning.  You don't even want to know the wind chill.  It's a good day for staying in and home.  Gracie doesn't like going out and Jason ends up carrying her for part of her walk for her business.  We tried putting the booties on her paws but she just stands still and you end up pulling her along.  It's as if her legs don't work.

Dear @Sassy7356   The way that you describe Gracie with boots is how my Josephine is whenever I put a leash on her.  Her legs no longer work.  I have to put a towel under her tummy and lift and drag her from the back door (no stairs) to the truck.  Then I have to lift her up enough to get her inside the truck.  If it's raining, forget about it.  Love SC

I love that white pitcher holding the flower arrangement. I love white creamy dishes so much, for some reason they are comforting and food looks delicious on them. My own everyday set of dishes are white Mikasa. I do own a set of colorful polish stoneware that I inherited from my mom. They are beautiful and I use them, just not as often as my mikasa. The mugs from the polish stoneware are huge and easy to hold so they always get used in the morning with memories of my mom 💗.

By the way, I just got my shipment of goose creek candles.  It has not been long since I lit the gingerbread donut and I can already smell the delicious aroma. I want one of those cake donuts on the candle label!

I'm sorry that I haven't been here

since last Thursday but on Friday I

was slammed with a strong migraine.

I have been prone to these vile attacks

ever since I was in college.Thankfully

they don't happen very often and I

always have my special "head meds" on

hand to help me function when they do.

Even with the meds one thing that I find

difficult is to do anything on the computer.

The eye strain is extremely intense and I

need to give my eyes a few days of rest

before I can go back on the computer.I'm

so happy to be back here again!

Good morning @beastielove    Good to see ya.  Sorry about that terrible migraine headache.  The computer does seem to aggrivate the eyes.  I've had to pull back from screen time myself.  Gives me a headache behind my left eye.  No migraines though.  I hope that episode is over for you.  

Whats been going on with you lately?  I'm sure the annex is very busy right now.  Do you have your Christmas plans together?  With kittehs, you may or may not put up a tree.

That pesky migrane is history so

I'm totally able go tend to the kitties

at the Annex.

There have been quite a few adoptions

and there are a few more pending..but

just as we get some precious kitties into

their furever homes we receive more

precious kitties (all rescued...many from

heinous situations) to take their places.

Just as I did on Thanksgiving I'm going

to help out there again on Christmas.I

will also be going to a Christmas Day brunch

at a friend's house which is two minutes

from my cottage...so no insane traffic to

deal with!

You're right about the tree.Years ago

I made an major error in judgement by

putting up a small one in the living room.

My beloved Tabitha,Sophie,Maggie,Samantha,

Tom and Forrest were still with me at that

time and they all clearly thought that I had

given them the tree as a big cat toy!
