Sorry folks my attempt at a little humor failed miserably.

No snarking here.
The title for your post made me chuckle, “ The End “. I just finished reading the study guide to Dr. Scott Hahn’s college level course on the Book of Revelation by St. John.
The title is The End and the latter part of the author’s vision deals with the end of the world.
As an aside, I had been reading the Bible while snowbirding and when I came to this particular book, it made no sense to me. Since I have heard and read Dr. Hahn’s insights and background explanations on religious topics, I sent for the study guide ( didn’t realize I should have ordered the eleven tapes for the course ! ).
Glad I took the time and effort: the symbolism and juxtaposition of events in the Old and New Testaments finally took on meaning.
BTW, I totally agree with you about all the craziness that is rampant in this world !!!
Happy Holidays !

Sorry, there is plenty wrong with the world, but the things you mentioned are not the problem.

Oh, good grief. Go read some history books. The country has been a whole lot crazier and more dangerous than anything we are seeing now.

She specifically said, "just to name a few". We all know there are many more.

It seemed to me this is just a thread to gossip about threads posted by others in a different forum.
I don't see anything apocalyptic in the examples you gave.
I also don't believe in the concept of a vengeful God exacting punishment for bad behavior like bullying Rudolph (?) 😮
Yes, there are some whacko threads here. What else is new?

My point is those things are not problems, and it is a mistake to concentrate on trivia and ignore real issues.

I knew it, some would make a big deal out of nothing. This is supposed to be tongue-in-cheek humor. Guess we could add sense of humor missing from the world.

@Imaoldhippie....you know how these boards are. Some people just have to argue about everything and anything.

Apparently I'm humorless as well, because I totally missed the humor in the OP too.
