Sorry, but honestly, I'm too vain to let myself go gray. It really, really ages you! It washes out your complextion! I really can't see anything good about letting your hair go gray. I love going to my stylist and walking out feeling like a million dollars! I know I look good when my hair looks good. Go right ahead ladies and turn gray. You'll never see me doing it!!! Yuck.

Yeah...that's what I thought too, when I decided last year to start coloring my hair again.  But, if you had an allergic reaction....burning scalp, sores, hives on your face, I bet you would change your mind.  Because many women die because of allergic reactions to hair dye.  And, some aren't as lucky as I was to get a milder reaction first.  For some, their first reaction was their last.

My husband has hyperparathyroidism.  Did you have surgery?  They could not find the offending gland on the test, so he's been on medication (Sensipar).  His mother also had it, but had surgery after diagnosis.  He's having the test again, so maybe he will have surgery.  Have you felt better?  Thanks,

Hyacinth

@hyacinth003   Yes, I had surgery.  Hyperparathyroidism is so very dangerous.  The best treatment is to eliminate the offending gland.  There is a website called parathyroid.com.  It's provided by a parathyroid surgical center in Florida.  It's extremely informative and you really should take a look at it.

As far as feeling better, I'm not sure.  I think some of my body pain has resolved.  But, I also had a total thyroidectomy at the same time, and I just haven't felt that great because of that.

@San Antonio Gal   Of course, my bangs are trimmed enough so I can see and not "shaved" on side tucked behind ear.

That's a good looking cut - and color @Shanus .   As you, I would prefer not to have the side shaved.  Thanks for sharing the pic.

@San Antonio Gal   My color is more white/silver and less grey, but couldn't find photo w/ both.
