Sassy,  Over the years we had two Siamese ladies.   Baby and Siam, both dumped and we took them in.   Siam was a non-stop talker.   Their meows and voices are different than other breeds of cat, but they are very beautiful, smart and a joy to own.

Viva,   I can sure understand your husband having to sit on the sofa to sleep.   The past two nights, my knee has given me fits, hurting like he$$, with that awful burning feeling that seems to intensify.    I did take 2 Advil last night but they were about as effective as M&Ms..    I forgot to call my doctor at home and ask about the gel injections or that medication Anika mentioned.     All I can say is I wish my knee would get back to normal.  It even hurt during the day yesterday, which it normally doesn't.   I need to pick up a bag or two of frozen peas or corn, as the doctor recommended ice on it.  

Do you think that sound near your headboard could be coming from outside of your home?    I hear things every now and then and haven't a clue where the sounds are coming from.  I even put the TV on mute to see if I can zero in on the sounds.   At home,  they can come from anywhere as we are not far from the little village center,  or it used to be a little village.   Fire house is about 1/4 of a mile away and there's a playground, school,  across the field from us,  plus our once quiet country road is now a main drag.  Progress isn't always good.
