Just a shame some totally disregard forum rules and keep reposting political and already deleted thread topics. Do they seriously not get it or just enjoy stirring the pot?

Perhaps the topic interests them. Considering that they get more than the average number of posts, many are interested in the discussion.
All of us are free to avoid posts we dislike or that are of no interest.
It's unfortunate that a few informers enjoy deciding for others.

@occasionalrain From polices , term and conditions for this forum
Please do not

I understand that and don't object to moderators doing the job they're paid to do.
My objection is to those self appointed board police posters who so enjoy reporting fellow posters.

Actually, it's unfortunate that a few posters can't follow the rules. And judging from some of your posts you can be a sourpuss, if not downright self-righteous at times.

I know several threads have been taken down lately, although I don't recall which ones or specifics about them, but is it necessary to thank the moderators for doing so? Aren't they just doing their job? Why make an issue of it?

@BarbieDollToo @occasionalrain I said this before but will mention it again.
occasionalrain and I disagree more times than not. She has been on here a very long time, as have I.
She says what it is on her mind, like it or not, and NEVER, in my experience, resorts to personal attacks like many here do or name calling.

This isn't about reporting fellow posters. I've never reported a post and wouldn't. It's about very basic board rules. What I was referring to is when obvious political threads & posts that always become contentious & deleted, then right after that thread gets poofed another poster posts exact same topic that also gets poofed soon after, and they don't know that? Also the challenging of moderation gets me too, as when these type of threads get poofed & a poster starts a thread asking "why did you delete my thread?" Wasn't saying you can't post whatever you want, just that IMO it's obvious pot stirring.

I totally agree about @occasionalrain never engaging in name calling or attacking another poster.
