I purchased a piece of clothing yesterday morning.Shipping was the normal 3.50.That late afternoon,Q announced free shipping the rest of the day.I called customer service and asked if they could please deduct shipping fee on my purchase, and she said so kindly ABSOLUTELY!

Now that's service

Thanks for mentioning this.  I too ordered a clothing item in the morning and noticed the free shipping later in the day but it never occurred to me to ask to have the shipping refunded.  I just assumed that was my bad luck.  Next time I will ask too.

I saw that 'Flash Free shipping event' and wondered about those who ordered early in the day.

 

I am SO glad they adjusted your order!

 

I'd be pretty miffed if that happened to me!
