Sunday mail delivery

Doorbell rang and it was my mail carrier delivering mail. Not packages but just the regular mail. Apparently Usps is allocating it's resources efficiently so they don't run into problems this holiday season. My friend said UPS made a delivery to her at 9pm Wednesday night.

Saturday is a regular work day for the USPS. Maybe they will come tomorrow too.

I've received packages and overnight mail from UPS and FedEx on Sundays. Mail or packages by USPS? No way!! We're lucky to even get it during the normal work week, much less Sunday.

Saturday has always been a regular delivery day here. Are they going to deliver Sunday also? As to UPS, it's not uncommon for my UPS guy to come between 8:30 and 9:00PM, sadly.

Omg! Silly me... I thought it was Sunday. The holiday threw me off, yesterday I thought it was Saturday for half the day.

Only time I had a Sunday delivery by USPS was when it was an Amazon item. Asked carrier about it. He said they have a contract with Amazon they must fulfill for date related deliveries.

Have never got FedX or UPS deliveries on Sundays, but that could change with the holiday.

@chrystaltree It has felt like Sunday to me all day. Funny how a holiday throws us off.

@Allegheny I've had the same experience with getting a package delivered to my door by the USPS on a Sunday that was from Amazon.

I have an order from Sam's Club that's supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I've had really good luck with my orders from Sam's Club and FedEx, my last order was less than 24 hours from placing my order to it being delivered.
