@Bird mama For around the third year or so, I have tiny birds raising babies in the pockets on the underside of the deck roof. I didn't know they were there until recently when I saw a mom with food in her beak, then heard the tiny voices, love that sound.

I sure miss seeing and hearing these beauties. When I was a kid, we had Meadolarks all over the place. I cannot remember how long it's been since I''ve seen or heard one anywhere near here. Same with Nighthawks, Kildeers, House Wrens etc. Rachel Carson wrote the book 'Silent Spring' many years ago. Now it's like Silent World.
