Cross-word puzzle or word search books or even a coloring book with neat crayons. A nice throw or book from an author she likes are also nice. I believe anything you bring will be appreciated.

Well she has an injured leg and will be in for about a month in the rehab. As far as her interests she cant get around very well even before the injury and watches alot of tv.

Thank you all SO much for all of the suggestions!! They are such good ones and I will decide what to get before visiting next weekend!!!  Smiley Happy Smiley Happy

I had a family member who was in rehab for months.  Things she asked for were

a small mirror so she could do her face and hair from her bed or chair.

a soothing lip balm and skin lotion...the air in that place was drying.

hard candies to sooth her throat

a fleece throw and grippy non slip socks

offer to do her laundry.  She did not like the facility to wash her clothing...and they lost items.

I like the throw idea that many people mentioned. But also I think just a beautiful card with your heartfelt words and a visit from you, would be appreciated. I know people get very lonely when away from home.
