Gosh it's really cold here this morning. Want to go back to bed but can't do that.   

Birdmamma I bet you could figure out how to save JCP.  Hope you do.  It's always been a favorite of mine. My mother worked there when I was a little girl.  Back then they used those little trolley like things to send the bill and your cash to the cashier with a pull of the chain. She sent the receipt back with your change and receipt.  Of course no credit cards back then.  I think they had layaway.

Feb.,already?? I hate this month the most.it cold,dreary,and if we have a big snow it's always in Feb. at least it's the shortest month.

Finally!!! All the workers are gone.they did a great job,can't see a tall where they opened the wall board.But,oh my goodness,the dust is all over everything. We got our bedroom cleaned first,yesterday the bath and laundry room. Still haven't touched the basement.today my hubby mopped the garage flor,so the dust won't be brought into the house.no more work for us for a while.

its terrible cold here in Virginia.wind is too be bad tonight,and cold again tomorrow. 

I must call and make an apt. For my yearly check  up,and my mammogram.also have to see a dermatologist for an ongoing ear lobe infection? This week we go to a concert to hear our favorite guitar player,that is, next to my daughter.then we also go to the local high school,where my grandson will be here for a drum concert. Starting out to be a busy month already.

everyone stay safe in this cold,and stay away from crowds if you can.this is a really bad flu season.

Good Morning, my sister texted me that she saw the morning news and it looks like we could get hit with 4 to 5 inches of snow tonight into tomorrow.  Winter in Michigam  whatcha gonna do?

I get that will get me off dead center to get all of my errands done today.

That snow is headed to the Hoosier state too.  We must go to a calling for our neighbor.  I better get in gear.

Honestly @yock  I got drama mama's for weather forecasters here.  On Monday they were predicting 6-10 inches of snow, we got maybe 3 inches. 

One thing that makes me happy is that if we are getting a significant snow, it's going to hit on Sunday and I will be able to go out and shovel during the day as it falls.

@Bird mama.  That was an interesting calling we attended. It was more like the old days when funerals were in the home.  There was no service or body bit it was very intimate.   They had coffee and cookies and some miniature euclatrs in the kitchen and you just helped yourself.  Merle picked up an eclair and the cream squirted all down the front of his jacket.  It was held at the daughters home but all the neighbors were there.  When we left some walker was going down the sidewalk and he said a joyous occasion I hope.  There were cars all down the street.  Merle had no idea what the guy said so he said oh yes.  

No snow yet. The weathermen don't seem to know either.  My grandsons ate in Indy for the pacers game and my great granddaughters are in Michigan.  We stopped at our favorite neighborhood restaurant and I had a cup of chili and a grilled cheese sandwich.  Just right 

Epi I'm so glad your workmen did a good job.  I hate to dust but it's very satisfying when you finally get right d of that stuff.    I'd rather vacuum than dust but if truth be told, I'd rather stick my nose in a book and not touch any of it.

@yock  Betty, maybe that kind of calling was easiest for the family.  Sorry Merle lost the eclair filling on his jacket.  I'm glad I did the grocery shopping, hit the recycling center and grabbed a pizza on the way home.  The snow has started to fall and it's accumulating.

I'm not watching the big game however I can always eat food that's not good for me.

Brrrr, it's cold in Ohio, and it is snowing again....Dh cleared the drive before church and will probably have to do it before we head out for work in the morning....I am so over winter and it's only early February.

We don't watch the big game, sports has no appeal but we did just have pie and ice cream for dessert, so glad I did a couple of miles on the exercise machine this morning.

@Mom2Dogs  I shoveled once and will do it one more time before I go to bed.  I heard the wind will be picking up here too and the windchills will get ugly.
