Still no smoking - Page 4

I quit May 16th, 1990 cold turkey from being a 2 pack a day smoker. Best thing I ever did. @Jayhawk Girl Congrats to you on 8 months toward a long healthy life!

@lincoln...Smart Doctor!! Think I will pass that on to my son. He has tried to stop smoking 3 times. Two unsuccessful. This past September he stopped again, and thus far is smoke free for 4 months..., but he is strugglng, and when under stress he feels like he wants to smoke. He is 27, smoking 10 years, and has asthma, so he NEEDS to stay smoke free or he will soon be in serious trouble. I pray he doesn't go back to it this time.

i sure did. It's been really difficult and frustrating, I really had hoped the urge to want it would have gone away completely. Nope, it's not as agonizing as it has been but still and will probably remain so. Thanks
