You did a good thing for your body as well as social relationships....congratulations!  Please share how you stopped, I have a family member that needs some inspiration.

Re: Still no smoking

[ Edited ]

It'll be 6 months for me on Jan 9th. I still crave them sometimes. Like right now sitting here on the computer with my coffee, a cig would go so good. I thought I'd be feeling physically a lot better, like more energy, able to do more without starting to breathe heavier, but can't say I notice any difference. Sticking with it though.

You just keep on, keeping on. You're the winner in this, and smoking is not your best friend. That was a final conclusion for me, many moons ago.. You have a right to be proud and you're probably saving a ton of money and smelling pretty sweet now.

Congratulations!  They say your body immediately starts to heal itself - never too late.  Smoking does so many bad things to your body.

Congrats to you. I'm right there with you ( 8 months) thanks to @Trudey . She motivated me when she quit. After 50 years of smoking it feels weird. I still think about it but won't go back. We need to stick together.

Congratulations ! I just passed my six year mark. People ask if I will smoke again and I say "no, because it's too hard to quit". I do miss it at times, though. well-done.jpg

As well you should be.

As an exsmoker I know what a hard habit it is to break.  You are well over the hump.

I'll bet by now or soon the smell will be so gross to you.

Feel good about yourself---way to go.
