@Puzzle Piece

That was a bargain at todays prices!   The ribeye meal I order from Outback is just under $30.

We have a very good, nice steak place near us.  We've gone twice in seven years for special milestones.  It's very expensive.  Steaks start at $50.  I'm not a big fan of steak but I do like it at this place.  I always get filet mignon.  A dinner for 3, including drinks, meals and appetizers was a little over $300.

@ Ms Mac  I made an error, I paid $40 - it was not free.

Whoa....one more reason why I'm glad we don't eat meat (not the most important one, but a valid one during these challenging times).

@Puzzle Piece   Was the $45 just for the steak or were sides included?  If it was ala carte, I think that it was expensive but if a couple of sides were included, sounds about right for a good cut of steak.

My husband and I went out lst night for a steak dinner. It was pricey.

How much is too much to you?  My entree was $40 and my husband's was $45.  Am I being out of touch?

@Puzzle Piece , if this was a complete steak meal I don't believe it was too expensive considering the prices now.

We went to a "fancy" place in the next town for our 30th anniversary and ordered the "special;" risotto unfortunately we failed to ask the price which came out to be $65.00 a person we wee so shocked when we saw the bill

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

It has been our experience that fish is at least as expensive if not more so than meat in better restaurants.
