Among Friends

I signed in, looked at my "PROFILE", and of course the info is wrong.  I did NOT sign up in 2010; I signed up in 2007.  AND I can't even find the thread on which I replied/asked a question over the weekend.  I DO NOT LIKE THIS "NEW" EITHER!  And YES, I GUESS WE WILL RALLY ON AMONG FRIENDS AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR OUR BELOVED VIEWPOINTS -- that is, if we stick around or not.

It seems that 'Community Chat' is 'Viewpoints' and this is still the 'Among Friends' forum.

I also see that they have very specifically put religion on the verboten list (yay), but there are still always a lot of 'Among Friends' conversations.

For those who are so frustrated, please go into the Preferences and Settings and make changes.   One thing that has helped me, and a lot of other people here, is to change the view to 'Forum Only'.   It made a really big difference for me.  

Just look around in the things you can customize and it will make it a lot easier for you.    New emoticons, but they are even sillier than the old ones were. Oh well.  I guess people using iPads can use their own emoticons but those are even worse.     I'll just either smile frown or wink

CB, how did you get your post to show up on a gray background?  I don't likel the white background.  It's so much easier to read on gray.

Wouldn't it make sense to make Among Friends as "Viewpoints"? Among Friends doesn't have Gamers, etc. I bet people will be using both sites for Viewpoints.
