Live in the metro Detroit area, but have family in the Grand Rapids area. Always remember it getting hit a lot more than us. I think we are supposed to get snow here soon too.

Predicted 80° (maybe higher) tomorrow in Phoenix.   This is WAY over the average of high 60's.

Looks like we are gonna have a "warm" winter, too...

Here in West Michigan we are snowed in. No mail yesterday, but today Amazon managed to get up the driveway and leave a package at our door. Neighbor didn't get mail yesterday (called to ask). Maybe the letter carrier was just too busy.

I guess we are not snowed in,just confused.

I'm confused.  Are you snowed in?

'Amazon managed to get up the driveway'--is your driveway safe to manuever?

I guess you don't have USPS Informed Delivery.  It lets you know what you're getting in the mail each day, they post it early.

It's possible you and your neighbor you called weren't getting anything in the mail.

@Lucky Charm, I guess some people look for mail everyday whether it's junk mail or not. It tells them that the mail carrier stopped by.

I have informed delivery and most of my mail is junk so it stays in the box until whenever. All my bills are on line and packages are left at the door.

I didn't realize that neighbors inquire about who got mail.

@Lucky Charm : Our driveway is long (1/4 mile) and the mailbox is at the end of it. We either drive down or weather permitting, walk down.

I think our country road was maybe bad? and had not been plowed.  Sunday, Amazon was able to get up the driveway and leave the package at our door.

We always get mail, junk or not and do not like to leave the mailbox (full) visible to mailbox robbers.

I've been watching the news about the massive snow in several areas of the country. Wow. I feel for everyone in it.

We woke to our first measurable snow today. We usually have a first snow in October and a couple in November so late for us (and I don't mindSmiley Happy). It makes me wonder what our winter will be like.

I'm in the midwest.
